The EDER – WINCH 1200 is the allrounder under the EDER – Winches. It convinces by lightness and great power at a low price. It pulls 90 times its own weight and is driven by a powerful 2-stroke engine that can work in any position. When testing all the winches we have available this was a clear winner when it came to pulling power.

• 1,200 kg traction force without pulley at a traction speed of 14 m/min

• 2,400 kg traction force with pulley at a traction speed of 7 m/min.

Operation

The EDER – WINCH 1200 is controlled outside the danger zone. By pulling lightly on the rope, the throttle trigger of the control unit is moved and the winch starts to pull.

Rope brake

Maximum safety thanks to the rope brake! As soon as the operator releases the rope, the winch stops and the rope is clamped in the brake. This prevents the load from slipping back unintentionally. The brake can, however, be released on purpose.
